The Three Quills write Regency Romance. They had so much fun working together to produce ‘A Tangle of Tinsel and Tartan’, an anthology of Regency Romance short stories for Christmas 2020, they created ‘A Tangle of Tiaras and Titles’ for the 2021 Summer Solstice and a Christmas anthology – ‘A Tangle of Todays and Tomorrows’.

Who are The Three Quills?
The Three Quills are Leigh D’Ansey, Jen Yates and Caroline Bagshaw. They all work from their homes in Aotearoa/New Zealand, way down in the South Pacific.
With ancestors hailing from Devon and Cornwall, Jen says England is definitely in her blood. Her love affair with Regency Romance began, as it has with most of us, with those Regency classics, Jane Austen and Georgette Heyer.
Born in Scotland, Caroline Bagshaw describes herself as a scientist, storyteller and traveller. Caroline is an animal behaviourist with an international consultancy. She spins her tales in between a hectic business and family life and looking after a menagerie of animals. Caroline is also a talented artist who drew the elegant circle of quills for ‘The Three Quills’ logo.
Leigh D’Ansey lives in the beautiful Bay of Plenty in an area known for its geothermal activity. The geothermal landscape can be as unpredictable as romance! Learn more about Leigh here.
The Three Quills write Regency Romance because they love what they do! Jen, Caroline and Leigh share a belief in romance and the power of love. They also share a keen interest in that colourful and unique historical period known as the Regency.
